Spring Concert

Fallon had her spring concert last night. The music teacher is excellent and the shows are always first class. I can't believe I will be watching 2 children in the shows next year. Fallon gets pumped up before every performance; I truly think she sees concerts and performing as just part of her lifestyle. It's what she does. Birkley was such a supportive fan. When Fallon's group came on stage, Birkley, like a proud mama, waved and yelled, "Hi Fallon!" Everytime Fallon did something special, Birkley would ooh and ahhh and give her the thumbs up sign. What a sweet sister. I will attach video, but right now the footage contains audio in real time and dancing in high speed. Not quite sure what that's about. It's my new Mother's Day video camera so I haven't had much time to play around with it.

There was a super special moment I wish I would have caught on film...and it happened right after I turned the camera off. I had taken the girls to the show and I knew Adam was going to try to meet us there from work. I didn't tell Fallon, just in case he got caught up with something. Well, after I turned the camera off, Fallon looked for us in the audience. When she spotted me, I got a very loving smile. Then, she saw Adam and her face lit up! And the part I wish I would have captured was I could see her mouth the word, "Daddy!" Love it!
