A Special Day

Last Friday was a big day for Fallon. It was her first no uniform day, she wore a new outfit from Nanna, she bought her lunch at school ($3.00 for kids lunch...yikes!), she got to be picked up in the pick up line by daddy and get her name called in the microphone by Sister Joan, and then she and daddy drove to Birmingham to see...Taylor Swift. They had a great night! They had pit passes and Fallon's little head was next to the stage all night. Taylor Swift even placed a pick in Fallon's hand during the concert. Leave it to Adam to make it magical, that's what he does.

Meanwhile...Birkley and I had a spa night at home. She got to enjoy the bubbles in mommy's tub, have a manicure and pedicure, and sleep in the princess quarters (AKA the guest room, AKA the grandparents' room). I didn't want her to feel bad that she missed the concert so I let her know that daddy is taking her to the next one. She said, "But Mommy, I want to stay home with you and do nails." So sweet. We also enjoyed "flushies" from Sonic.
