Back to School

This is the year I have been waiting for since 2004!  For the first time, Fallon, Birkley, and I are in the same school.  If you walk down one hallway at school you will find my third grade classroom, Fallon's first grade classroom across the hall, and Birkley's Pre-K room around the corner.  Birkley and Fallon have lunch at the same time and are quite sisterly here at Holy Family.  On the first day of school, Fallon was already off to hang out with her seventh grade buddies before school started in the morning.  Birkley stayed with me.  By day #2, I was alone in my classroom preparing for the day while my 2 girls were being doted on by the "big girls."  I thought Birkley would seem so small and shy here...WRONG!  She is loving every minute and fits right in...they both are.  What an amazing school and great teachers and great students!  I am so lucky to be able to witness special moments at school...and, the most special part to me, see them see each other when they don't know I am looking.  They are true sisters, bonded for life.
