Once again, we got together with our friendly & fun neighbors to have a marshmallow roast and cookout atop our neighborhood mountain. We took smores, marshmallows, hot dogs, and many other snacks with us. There is a massive stone fire pit that is perfect for a group get together (the covered pavilion and built-in grill is nice, too). I wondered what it would be like to be up there at night...to be honest I was a little nervous. Between the families, we had flashlights and lanterns so we were covered. Once the big fire was roaring, we had plenty of light. Making the smores was a lot of fun and the dads told some scary stories around the fire. I would say that scary stories are not Fallon's "cup of tea"...she did NOT like to hear those. After a few hours, the air turned cold and the coyotes started howling so we headed home. I hope we do this again soon!

The big pit reminds me a little of the firewall at your old house :( Miss you...And hotdogs reminds me of..."you can't buy me hotdog man, I'm not a part of your system!"
s'mores taste better in Texas...just so you know
