Today, Fallon received her first report card & conducted her first student-led conference. At our school, students are responsible for leading the parent/teacher conference. First, Fallon led us in a prayer. She chose the Guardian Angel prayer. Then, she took us through her portfolio. She read us a story and presented us her report card. Everything looks fantastic!
Her teacher told us to take her report card to Krispy Kreme. I wondered what they would do since she doesn't have an A/B type of report card (she has a Mastery report card). When I asked this of the Krispy Kreme lady, she said, "Oh, she is in kinder so she gets 6 glazed donuts." What?!?!? Fallon's eyes nearly popped out of her head. Her experience was complete when they bestowed upon her the Krispy Kreme hat.
Not to be outdone, Birkley was wearing a fireman's hat when we arrived. The big fire truck was at her school today. She got to sit in the driver's seat!
The girls had a great day so I guess that means: FRIDAY NIGHT: MOVIE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, Miss Movie Night...we need a complete list of Barbie movies that don't have scary villians. Which ones are the "nice" ones? Audrey's easily freaked out these days... And way to go on the 6 donuts, Fallon!
