We woke up early on Thanksgiving. I made a special breakfast as the girls settled in to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I think Fallon is destined to be a Rockette, especially if she grows to be as tall as the pediatrician says. I think the minimum height requirement is 5'11...not that I have ever looked that up for myself. I, too, wanted to be a Rockette. That dream quickly vanished as I struggle to make it to 5'3 (I know it is shocking; the high heels I am always attached to hide a lot).
Later that day, we ventured over to Colleyville to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws and my brother. Adam's grandmother is also visiting. We adore her!! My parents are up in Chicago with the newest addition to the family. The girls are still at my in-laws as Adam and I are packing and preparing to move. He and I decided to paint the girls rooms ourselves, and I have enjoyed spending late nights at the new house doing that with him. Last night, as we were driving home near midnight, he said he would do anything for our two girls. They have no idea how much work and intricate detailing he is doing; I am merely his faithful sidekick entertaining him with my many anecdotes (oh and holding a paint brush or two, when needed). I can't wait to break in the new house with all of you!
