Well, the Sweet Tarts played their final game last Tuesday. Fallon learned so much and made many great friends. She certainly changed a lot during this season. In the beginning, she was happy to be with her teammates, running around, and supporting their efforts. Flash forward to the last game. She was devastated when she didn't "start." When she was playing, she hustled and got her foot on the ball as much as she could. There was a subtle moment that happened that I am so glad I witnessed. The ball went out of bounds, and Fallon was looking to the referee to see which team had possession. When she realized it would be the Sweet Tarts' ball, she ran to Coach and asked if she could kick the ball in! Not only did she show initiative, but she understood the game!
