Well, Adam and I had a great time in Shreveport. He SURPRISED me with a beautiful ring (it was the anniversary of our engagement...8 years ago). He had placed it in my purse when I wasn't looking...I was shocked when I saw the box inside. It was unexpected, but oh so Adam. I am a lucky girl!
I have loved my time with Birkley this weekend, but I am very anxious for Fallon to come home. I wish I would have recorded the phone conversation between the two of them today. I think they really miss each other. Fallon even told Cousin Teresa that her Sissy is her best friend.
One of the sweetest moments this weekend was when Adam and I were walking around the new house with Birkley. Everything Adam would do, Birkley would mimic. She would stand the way he stands, tilt her head the way he does...she wanted to be just like him. She is a big admirer of his :)
